The repetition of the same roses was tremendous in this room. There was a gazebo in the center and the next four photos show the diagonal views in each direction.

Rosemoor 13 years later...
18 Jul '08 7:05 pm Again you have shown me the most detailed pictures of a garden I vividly remember 13 years on... my favourite part then was the square garden with its blocks of colour, then in I think its first summer of maturity. The hedges were still young and the areas over towards the cottage garden only in their second summer. I went through to Lady Anne's garden as well and loved it. Thanks for sharing, Mark!

Kiddy in a sweet shop
23 Jul '08 8:24 am Oooh... I want one of those, two of those, that, that, and that over there, and I wonder if I can fit in some of those, and a bit of that too?
Oh dear, as a gardener with somewhat English pretensions, these photos make me a bit green! It is made very much worse by being house-bound due to the severely foul winter weather (not to mention a baby and work etc!!). I want to get out there and build rotundas and plant mass-colour gardens with a rill and creepers and paths that go in circles and mow the several acres of lawns and put in a dozen rose arches and on and on it goes!
Great stuff Mark. Keep it coming

Me too
24 Jul '08 8:18 am Me too, me too. I want everything that I haven't got. Greedy? No way!
Actually I'd settle for a bit of real colour, and possibly some more daylight, and a magical helper to mulch everything when I'm asleep...
