14 May '08 6:56 pm I have just returned from a trip to Wellington to visit my family.It was such a lovely drive,with all the beautiful autumn trees everywhere.
I thought the zany amongst us would appreciate a small town named 'Bulls'...I can't remember how it got its name,but the locals have taken advantage of the unusual name to promote itself to visitors.
The local police station is called 'Consta-bull'.
The rubbish bins are called'Responsi-bull.

16 May '08 8:15 pm One thing they're unlikely to have in this clever town is a Blue Bull shop or pub... for the Blue Bulls are a (our) local Super 14 rugby team, and either loved are hated. I must admit I fall into the latter camp, and (to the extent that I follow rugby) I support any team who beats them...
