20 Aug '08 7:38 am Hi guys hope everyone is doing well~ boy has there been alot going on.
That lovely house that we were buying turned out to be in forclosure and the owner hoodwinked us on it. They forclosed on it with us paying for it~! We had to move into a condo for the nonce so no garden for me again.
Summer is closing here for us kids going back to school, tropical storms coming in to terrorize us..lol
so whats going on in the other corners of the world?
Miss all you happy garden faces!

Hi Cajunangi,
20 Aug '08 5:15 pm long time no hear from. Sorry to hear about the house ... and garden! In California we have the worse draught I've seen in the 15 or so years I've been gardening. So things are dry and some are plants are suffering. My Bing Cherry tree and a flowering quince is developing brown leaves on a lot of branches. Tough love time but most plants are doing fine. I'm gearing up to return to school inside a week now. But just the other night I saw my first bloom on an Epi given to me by our friend Tim when he moved back East. The same night the white blooming Brugmansia he gave us was also in bloom. Then there has been a large hawk, Redtail I believe, in the neighborhood lately and Lia got a photo of it. Ah what the heck here is a fancy clover's flower just to say hello again. Hello!
