Love them! Just haven't been able to afford any, yet! So. Would have gleefully helped you dig them out, advising of any avalanches, and helped you plant them -in the rain, even- for just a few. Hmmm. Checked erstwhile non-existent dingy (complete with red variegated sails HA!) but methinks, lacking the owl, but not the pussycat, 'twould be not the safest thing have ever contemplated.... But, bravo for two carloads. There was the time I couldn't get hubband to fix my truck, so managed to haul seven bales of hay (the seventh in the passenger seat was the one that finally caused shocked fella's - bought hay from- friends to fall out of their chairs on the porch, laughing) home in his Honda Lxi. Fella asked how long I thought it would take to clean car: "Have no intention of cleaning car, then my truck will be fixed!! Wa-lah." Guys rolled off porch. 'Twas indeed prophetic, truck fixed in no time! Tee hee, tee hee.
Mentioning roaring laughing: hubband asked me why I was and had to read him whizzy gnome bit, to which he howled! Gnware the gnwhizzing gnome! ) He is not of the gnome persuasion, made me promise never, ever to get any. Methinks the gnguys are cute. Do have a wee one riding a flying goose in my kitchen garden window, shhh. Thought it was uncanny how much Robinson does indeedy-dee look like Smokey!
Have been intrigued by your participation in the plant auctions. Rapidly googled, none per se. Guess E-bay might, haven't looked yet, as am poised to order bulbs for this spring.
And. No flinging of dirt here, rained (poured) for two weeks and we were off to the Jazz Fest in Hot Springs, Arkansas. You see, if I planted in the rain, poor planties would wonder why I had planted them in cast iron, 'cause that is what the soil would be like when it dried out. Should actually be able to start (ta-daaa) digging kitchen bed shortly, if we don't get anymore rain and can manage not to be carried off by this new-to-here moose-sized mosquito! 'Tis amazing guys in white coats haven't come to get us for all of the zany, whacky moves we make to get in the backdoor sans mosquitoes. Even the kitties are in on all the evasive moves!!
ta for now, must write of tawny orange kitten tomorrow...
